What is a Digital Nomad Visa?

is it for you?

Three "yes"? You're a digital nomad!

‍ Remote work for over three months for a foreign company registered over one year ago?

‍ Income more than €2646 per month (2 minimal wages SMI)?

Relevant diploma title or 3-year work experience?

Two ways to apply

If approved, you will receive your Digital Nomad Visa, allowing you to legally work remotely in Spain for the specified duration.

You can get a one-year visa at the Spanish consulate of your country of citizenship or residence. Once you arrive in Spain, you can modify it to a three-year residence permit. You can either:

  • Enter and immediately modify it to a three-year residence or

  • Live in Spain for the full year and begin the modification process two months in advance.

However, with the second option, you won't receive a residence card within the year, and that year won't count toward a long-term residence.

At the Spanish consulate of a country of citizenship/residence

Legally, on any visa/document, including tourist Schengen, apply immediately for a three-year residence permit.

Then, it can be renewed for 2 more years.
